How to Become a Member

How to Join:

  1. Sign up for our weekly newsletter!

  2. Come to our monthly meetings!

  3. Most of our events are free of charge, but we recommend becoming a Societal SWE member for more opportunities, such as being able to attend conferences and run for an officer position.

  4. We encourage our members to get the Collegiate 2 Career (C2C) membership, which for a one-time $50 payment grants membership for all their undergraduate years and the first year of their professional career.  You can find more details about the different levels of collegiate membership here

  5. The Joint option allows you to join SWE and one of the following three professional organizations for a reduced rate: The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), or the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). (Only available April 15 – December 31)

  6. Remember to renew your membership every year even if you have C2C!!

  7. Follow us on our social media (@osuswe) and our Facebook to stay up to date!
